Tony Marsden of Blainscough Lodge No 8532, who built the Group website and has been webmaster since its inception,
has retired from office. As many will know Tony has lived and worked in Anguilla in the Caribbean for several years and
looked after the website from there. He did a wonderful job during his tenure, keeping all internet users informed and up
to date about goings on in the Group. On behalf of us all, I have expressed grateful thanks to Tony for all his hard
work and application and wished him well for the future.
Unfortunately Tony is not too well at the moment and is in Chorley Hospital, where doctors are trying to regulate his
production of red and white blood cells in order to stabilise his immune system. A speedy return to full health, Tony!
In his stead I have appointed Iain Simpson as webmaster. Iain is the current
Worshipful Master of Chorley Lodge No 6287. He will be working in close partnership with the
Group Publicity Officer, John Breakwell, and his team to produce the best website in the
Province – so they have told me. I’m looking forward to it and have every confidence in them!
