House full at Lever Park

It’s not often that an installation is a full house with a waiting list in operation. But that was the case for Lever Park Lodge No 8144.

Perhaps it was because it was the last event in which Paul Hesketh was to act as Provincial Deputy Grand Director of Ceremonies in the Craft and

Peter Hosker the Provincial Grand Master had decided to attend to honour the Lodge and the contribution made by Paul over the last three years.

Peter congratulated the new master and the whole installing team for a superb ceremony. Special mention was made of the junior brethren Ian Green,

Ian Turner and Russell Butler who worked the tools so well. The address to the new Master by his father David Arrowsmith was indeed a rare site.

John Robson, Chorley Group Chairman said that it had been a lovely ceremony with many changes of office. John said that Lever Park Lodge has the

lowest average age of any lodge in the group by a long way. With so many younger men in the offices the lodge has a lot going for it.

Peter said the festive board was excellent as has become expected of all events at Ridgmont and that whole evening was vibrant and full of energy.
