If one morning you fell and ended up with a broken neck could you carry on with your Freemasonry?
Well that’s what faced Peter Green in January of 2000 his freak accident means that he is now wheelchair bound.
Peter was initiated into Lever Park Lodge No 8144 in 1981, WM in 1995 then served as DC and on the Hall Committee.
Peter joined Corinthian Lodge No 2350 in 2006 and was first Principal of Chapter of Perseverance No 155 in 2003 and is currently ADC and Chaplin.
As if Peters Masonic career is not enough of an achievement he has just been inaugurated as President of the Rotary Club of Horwich after 10 years as a member.
Peter said he enjoyed the fund raising and charitable work and has three charities he is supporting. They are Guide Dogs,
Wheelchair Foundation UK and Wishing Well Charity (for disabled children in Romania).
Peter should be very proud of himself for he is a credit to himself, Freemasonry and the society in which he lives.
