Lever Park do it in the rain

As the bowls came out the rain came down, but, nothing can stop Lever Park Lodge No 8144 from having a good time.

60 lodge members, family and friends gathered for the annual competition at St Paul’s Club Bowling Green, Adlington.

The competition was played with a spirit of determination and a sense of good fun, expert hecklers were present to add a bit of spice to the proceedings.

Mark Arrowsmith the WM of the lodge said he was pleased with the turn out and that people had enjoyed themselves. The day had raised £205

which would be donated to the Bolton Hospice. So a good day all round.
