Peter Rees is installed into the chair of St Barts
Peter Rees was installed into the chair of St Bartholomew Lodge No 6071 by the immediate past and installing master Ken Morris.
The lodge was honoured by the presence of Ray Martland Assistant Provincial Grand Master who brought greetings from the Provincial Grand Master.
Ray said that this was an excellent ceremony and Director of Ceremonies John Dowsett should be proud of his handiwork. Special mention was made
of the junior brethren Stephen Lowe and John Boyes who made an excellent job of the third and first degree tools respectively.
Ray thanked the lodge for the magnificent donations to charity of £2,256 which comprised £1,530 to the West Lancashire Freemasons Charity
and £726 to other local charities.
The health of the lodge was noted to be in good order with “light blue” being in all the offices.
Ken Morris thanked all the brethren for the support he had received throughout last year.
Peter Rees said that he would do his best, while master of the lodge, to make sure that every one had a most enjoyable time.
