Chorley Group has a ‘collection’ of Charity Stewards

Malcolm Warren the Chorley Group Charity Stewards invited the groups Charity Stewards to a power point presentation. The presentation covered an

immense amount of very useful material in a very short period of time.

The main focus of the presentation was to encourage donations to the West Lancashire Freemason Charity. The effect of the recent 2010 festival has

been to significantly reduce donations to WLFC. Malcolm asked charity stewards to encourage people to get back into the habit on making donations.

The best way to make a donation is of course to use the “yellow envelope scheme” which allows the WLFC to reclaim an additional 25% if the donation

is made by a tax payer.

 A lively question and answer session was hosted by John Robson, Chorley Group Chairman, and David Ogden, Regional Charity Steward.
