Double up for John!

A triumvirate of Grand Lodge officers were in attendance to witness John Cunningham Installed in to the Chair of King Solomon of The Peace Lodge No 2269

for the second time by his predecessor Alan Kenny, having served a previous term in the Province of Cheshire.

Ken Shaw represented the Provincial Grand Master and congratulated both John and Alan for a very professional ceremony, which had been superbly crafted

by DC Brian Sharples.

Assistant Provincial Grand Master Ray Martland, in attendance at his Mother Lodge, and Chorley Group Chairman John Robson were on hand to complete an

impressive array of Grand Lodge Officers.

The Working Tools were presented in an excellent manner by Gary Smith, Gary Fisher and Michael Lee.

Ken Shaw’s address to the brethren was word perfect and John Robson was at his most eloquent in addressing both the Charity Steward and Almoner.

The excellent Festive Board was thoroughly enjoyed by all the brethren and was a fitting end to a wonderful evening.
