Townley Parker Installation

Townley Parker Lodge No 1032 was honoured by the presence of Geoff Bent, representing the Provincial Grand Master.

Brian Hoarty was installed into the Chair of King Solomon by Allan Farrington in a very efficient, fluent and friendly manner.

Geoff Bent brought greetings from the Provincial Grand Master and congratulated Brian for attaining the Masters Chair, Geoff also congratulated

Allan Farrington for the manner in which he installed Brian. Congratulations were also extended to Peter Leigh (DC) for the smooth organisation of the ceremony.

Geoff Bent thanked the lodge for their donations of £300 to the Chorley Masonic Hall and two cheques valued at £350 and £150 to the West Lancashire Freemasons’ Charity.

Geoff Catterall explained that Townley Parker Lodge No 1032 was the daughter lodge of Astley and Ellesmere Lodge No 730. Astley and Ellesmere were Lodge No 1032 before they were renumbered. There are rumours that there are two Grand Lodge Warrants numbered 1032 one in each for the Lodges names!
